I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone, so you can get a sense of whether we have a good match. It is also an opportunity for me to decide whether or not I will be able to support you.

If you are using Out-of-Network benefits, the therapist will provide all the necessary paperwork for you to submit to your health insurer as an out-of-network provider if needed. You may request a "Superbill" if your insurance offers reimbursement.
This provider will also provide Good Faith Estimates so there is no surprise billing.
This will be discussed during the initial appointment. A session is approximately 50 minutes.

A new consumer protection law called "The No Surprises Act" went into effect on January 1, 2022. Here is what this means for you: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services to patients who don’t have insurance or who are choosing to not use their insurance. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
